I have over 15 years of experience as an executive recruiter, division manager and career coach. My career started with Robert Half International, one of the top staffing firms in the world, where I worked for 10 years. I hired, trained and managed an internal staff as well continuing to contribute individually. My primary responsibility was to coach, mentor and develop both my internal staff and my external consultants. I eventually went on to start an internal accounting consulting practice and hired 40 new employees.
Succession planning and staff development soon became a part of my daily activities; I was continually assessing strengths, training and hiring opportunities. But like many of my clients, after a decade in staffing, it was time to try something new. Through networking, I landed a job as an executive recruiter for a training and development company focused on executive coaching, leadership development and organizational development. In my role as an executive recruiter, I worked with Fortune 500 companies and it gave me access to some of the best and brightest minds in the country. This was my foray into coaching, as I continued to work as a part-time internal recruiter and started as a career advisor at a Boston based business school. Today I still continue to enjoy working with a variety of clients from millennials to semi-retired from a variety of backgrounds and industries.
